Anna University Scam

 




Hey people! Today, I am about to share with you an important news. From people I came across, it appeared to me that a significant number of people were unaware of such a thing going on. So, I thought it would be better to inform people about this today. 

It's the Anna University affiliation scam. Usually, for engineering colleges to be affiliated to the university, they need to follow certain norms prescribed by the university and the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). They need to have a certain number of faculty, lab facilities, materials, etc. Annual inspections would be conducted by university officials. 

It has been discovered that a lot of colleges have registered fake number of full-time faculty members. More than 211 individuals have been discovered to have registered as full-time faculty members in two or more institutions. The inspection has been conducted across 480 colleges, and around 284 colleges have been found to have committed such forgery. This scam has been brought to light by the anti-corruption organization "Arappor Iyakkam", who have been following this case diligently. They had been tipped off this act by a person from within the system itself.

They have been working ever since 2022 on this case, by searching and verifying the dates of birth, photos and IDs. Many faculty members have been found to have faked their AICTE IDs. At present, the university has commissioned a committee with officials from the university and AICTE to further investigate.

My Gap Year

 Hello people! Welcome to my blog. This is my first post and my hearty thanks to all you people for supporting it by visiting it. I am a first year under-graduate student of the course B.A. English Language and Literature. Today, I would like to share with you my journey towards choosing this course and how I have perceived it so far.   Hey people! What makes a good friend? Well, a friend who is supportive most of the time. A friend who keeps you happy most of the time. A friend who is there whenever you are in need. A friend, who consoles you when you are sad and a lot of other things make a good friend. But, what makes a best friend?
